Combination Lock – a wooden cryptex with a three-digit code and a hidden compartment.
Inspired by the cryptex in “The Da Vinci Code”: the lock consists of two parts and only opens when you set the right three-digit combination. You choose the code yourself from 1000 combinations, 0 to 999. Inside there is room for a note, a key or other small items, and the eyelet lets you hang the lock on your bag.
Assembling it shows you the principle behind most modern combination locks. A small project for an afternoon – 34 parts, about 2 hours. A fitting gift for anyone who likes puzzles and secret compartments.
