Description

The Antique Box is a mechanical casket with six compartments, two secret compartments and a locking latch.

Pull the upper lid and three mechanical blocks go to work: two mirrored mechanisms on the sides move and turn the upper compartments, while the third opens the lower drawer in the middle. That gives you six compartments for jewelry and small valuables. Two more stay hidden until you find and press the concealed button on the back.

A project for an afternoon – 185 parts, about 2–3 hours. The side panels are decorated with floral carvings featuring oriental elements.
