Description

The Cargo Truck is a truck with a spring-powered motor, three fully sprung axles and two differentials – built for rough terrain.

To get going, set the start/stop toggle switch in front of the windshield to “Stop” and give the ratchet key on the underside of the chassis 6–7 full turns. Set the truck down on a flat surface, press “Start”, and it travels 2–3 meters. Turn it over to watch the drivetrain at work.

Two differentials distribute power to the front axle and the paired rear axles, and every wheel is sprung. The concept recalls 6x6 all-terrain trucks such as the Mack NO and the Diamond T. A project for several evenings – 550 parts, about 10 hours, advanced difficulty.
