Description
Top Fuel Dragster – a wooden racer with a spring motor and an open skeleton body.
A powerful spring motor and gear set drive the car, sending power through the crankshaft and a belt drive – a rubber band running through a tensioner with roller – to the rear wheels with their silicone tires. When it takes off, the Top Fuel Dragster rears up on its back wheels just like the real thing. A Start/Stop button controls it, the driving modes are selectable and it covers up to 8 meters.
The open skeleton body puts all the mechanics on display. A project for several evenings – 321 parts, about 8 hours, challenging. If you like, paint or customize it afterwards.

Laser-cut edges, open mechanics, visible wood grain: every part is laser-cut from plywood so precisely that it fits without glue. Gears, levers and shafts stay visible – the mechanism is part of the design.
Designed by UGEARS, a Ukrainian brand, produced in the EU. We have been bringing the models to Germany as the exclusive importer since 2015 and ship from Germany. If a part breaks while building, spare parts are free.
