The UGEARS Mechanical Celesta – a wooden kit that becomes a playable musical instrument.
The celesta combines elements of a piano, a music box and a xylophone. Play one octave directly on the keys – each hammer strikes a metal plate. Or place pins on the drum and turn the crank to play a programmed melody. The instructions include the programming for “Carol of the Bells” (Shchedryk by Mykola Leontovych). No musical knowledge needed.
