About the model
The Mini-Biplane is a small biplane with a rubber band motor and a spinning propeller – built in about 1 hour.
To wind it up, pull the model backwards across a surface and let go: the rubber band motor drives it forward and the propeller spins along. The fuselage has an open frame, so the drive stays visible and easy to understand.
Just like the original, two fixed wings sit one above the other, joined by struts – a design that allows wings that are light yet strong. A starter project – 84 parts, about 1 hour, recommended from age 8. A good gift for children who love airplanes, and a shared project for the whole family.
Key features:
- Rubber band motor, wound by pulling back
- Spinning propeller
- Open-frame fuselage with a view of the mechanism
- Lightweight wooden frame
- Two braced wings
Assembles without glue or tools, instructions in 11 languages.
