Description

Heavy Boy Truck VM-03: a classic American semi truck with a rubber band motor, a transmission and a working fifth-wheel coupling.

Under the hood sits an inline six-cylinder engine driven by the rubber band motor. On a single winding the truck travels up to 5 meters. The transmission has three modes: forward, reverse and idle. The front wheels have shock absorbers and turn, so you decide where the truck goes.

The fifth-wheel coupling takes the matching Trailer for Heavy Boy Truck VM-03 from UGEARS (a separate kit), turning the tractor into a complete eighteen-wheeler. A project for several evenings – 541 parts, about 8–9 hours.

Key features:

  • Ten wheels: two on the steering axle, four dual-wheel sets on the drive axles
  • Large grille, air filter and two exhaust stacks running up beside the cab
  • Roof spoiler, air horns, fuel tanks, two pairs of mirrors and a step ladder
  • Sleeper cab with TV, plus a shovel and gas can inside

Assembles without glue or special tools, instructions in 11 languages.
