About the model
The Theater is a small mechanical stage: turn the wheel and a gear train sets the characters in motion.
With every turn the characters chase one another across the stage: Prince, King, Princess, Dragon, Witch and Jester, plus the Castle and the Treasure. Every spin changes the scene. Can the Prince slay the Dragon? Will the Jester find the Treasure? You write your own stories and are both playwright and audience.
A project for one evening – 70 parts, about 1–2 hours. At 21.3 × 18.9 × 7.7 cm, the Theater fits on a desk or shelf. An unusual keepsake for anyone who likes to combine gear mechanics with storytelling.
