Description

The TIE Fighter™ from the Star Wars™ collection by UGEARS mounts magnetically on a motorized stand styled after the surface of the Death Star.

The Galactic Empire's starfighter, with its ball cockpit and hexagonal wings, attaches to the stand by magnet and is easy to detach. A small battery-powered motor hidden in the stand swings the fighter from side to side – evasive maneuvers straight from the films. Two laser cannon towers sweep side to side as well.

Power comes from three AA batteries or via USB Type-C; batteries, power bank and cable are not included. The top hatch of the cockpit opens to reveal interior details. The stand is compatible with the one for Luke Skywalker's X-Wing Fighter™ – together they form a larger Death Star surface for the Trench Run scene from the original Star Wars™ film. A project for several evenings – 400 parts, about 12 hours.
