About the model
The UGEARS NASA Space Shuttle Discovery – a 3-in-1 set of orbiter, Hubble telescope and floating stand.
Discovery flew 39 missions between 1984 and 2011 – more than any other shuttle – and deployed the Hubble Space Telescope in 1990. On the 1:96 scale model the payload bay doors open, the robotic arm deploys the telescope, ailerons, rudder and landing gear move. The tensegrity stand makes the model appear to float. With official NASA stickers and info plate.
A project for several evenings – 315 parts.
