Sailboat – a boat in the style of the ancient seafarers, with a dragon head at the bow, ready to paint with pre-drawn outlines.
The fine lines on the wood guide you through every detail: from the hull and the dragon head with its anchor to the mast, sail and steering wheel. Acrylics, gouache, watercolors or markers – use whatever you have at hand, on your own, with friends or with the whole family.
The model tells the story of the seafarers of old: Phoenicians and Vikings travelled long distances by boat alone. The dragon head with an anchor in its mouth was meant to protect the crew in storms. A small mechanism lets you turn the star-shaped wheel at the stern and send the boat riding over the waves. A project for children aged 4 and up – 17 parts, about 45 minutes.
