Luke Skywalker's X-Wing Starfighter™ from the Star Wars™ collection by UGEARS: fighter and motorized stand in one model.

The stand is styled after the surface of the Death Star. Inside it, a motor drives a swing mechanism that moves the X-Wing from side to side, recreating its maneuvers from the original film. Fighter and stand connect with a magnet, and a transparent acrylic mount creates a floating effect.

The S-foils open and lock into attack position – which is where the X-Wing gets its name. The cockpit canopy opens, the front and rear landing gear can be removed, and an R2-D2-style button on the fuselage opens a lower hatch. With the included connectors you can join the model to the UGEARS TIE Fighter™ for a larger Death Star surface.

A project for several weekends – 455 parts, about 20 hours.
